Meet the Director

My name is Danielle and I have worked in this industry for what seems like forever! I started at the Little Saints service in Moe back in 2008, starting there as a student doing my first placement. I was then offered a casual position and quickly went to a permanent role, becoming a trainee to finish my cert 3. A few years after this I once again became a trainee, and finished my diploma, and became a Lead Educator, until I transferred across to the service in Traralgon when we opened in 2018. Here at Traralgon I started as a Lead Educator in the nursery room where I stayed for 5 months, before being offered the Assistant Director position in 2019, and then becoming Centre Director in 2021.
I have 2 daughters, who most definitely keep me busy on my days off! We are a very active family, and spend a lot of time outdoors, enjoying spending time in the bush or the high country! When I do have some time to myself, I enjoy going to the gym and taking photos of sporting events.
At Little Saints Traralgon, we pride ourselves on being a friendly, second family for children to be a part of. We value connections with families and understand that starting care is a big step for children and their families. We want to support families through this transition because we know that your child is your most prized possession.

Situated in the newly developed area of Traralgon, this beautifully designed service educates 100 children each day through 5 spacious and light-filled classrooms, with an onsite kitchen team providing delicious allergy friendly and nutritious meals.

Connections with the community are valued within this service and children and educators take every opportunity to engage with the world around them; through community walks around the service neighbourhood, engaging in both dance and sport programs across the service. Our kindergarten program provides a ‘Bush Kinder’ experience over terms 2 & 3 as well as engaging with the local libraries and emergency services.

All of our programs are linked with the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework and collaborate with families to achieve children’s individual learning goals. Families have ongoing access to their children’s learning via the EDUCA app and are encouraged to share with us their educational experiences from home.
